SquadPicks ("we", "us", "our") is an online service that lets users ("you") create groups, share content picks, vote, and collaborate with friends and family. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of squadpicks.io and any related applications or services.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may only use SquadPicks with verifiable parental or guardian consent, and your parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover that a user under 13 has created an account without parental consent, we will delete that account and associated data promptly.
You may sign in using Google OAuth or Telegram. By signing in, you authorise us to receive your name, email address (Google only), and profile photo from your chosen provider. We do not receive your passwords, messages, or contacts from these providers.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You retain ownership of any content you submit (picks, comments, ratings). By submitting content you grant SquadPicks a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and share that content with your squad members as part of providing the service. We do not sell your content to third parties.
The SquadPicks name, logo, and all platform-generated content are owned by SquadPicks. You may not reproduce or distribute them without written consent.
SquadPicks integrates with Google, Telegram, YouTube, and streaming services. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service outages or changes.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SQUADPICKS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF CAD $50 OR INR 4,000.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from account settings or by contacting support@squadpicks.io. Upon termination, your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
For users accessing the service from India, these Terms shall also be read alongside applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction in Ontario, Canada, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if we have your address) or by displaying a notice on the platform at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
